Overlook Park, canyon lake, texas did not disappoint.
It's so beautiful and offers so many beautiful backdrops, not to mention you can't go wrong with a water background! I had such an incredible time, despite the crazy wind gusts, we were so lucky to be some of the only people there... so we could shoot anywhere!
Dom is a photographer herself, and she's incredibly talented and gorgeous. Xavier is going to school for marketing at UTSA and works at iRun.. I'm sure we've run into each other before.
I remember we thought about rescheduling the engagement session because there was going to be wind gusts of 30mph. In my opinion, wind is one of the HARDEST components to shoot in, you can't really do much to stop wind. If it's really harsh light you can always find shade, in the rain- you can find a porch or clear umbrella, but wind is HARD. So we shot this engagement session in crazy wind gusts and Dom and Xavier were fantastic.
We had a blast together and I loved meeting you both. I can't wait to see ya'll again... soon! :)
