i arrived at granberry hills for dominique and xavier's wedding and everything seemed fine. it was a beautiful day! as soon as i made it into the bridal suite to meet and hug the bride, as i usually do, the sky began to darken. dominique kept a positive outlook as she kept getting ready.. it's not what anyone wants for a wedding day, but we made it work! the ceremony was unforgettable, the details were beautiful, the couple in love, and friends and family were there to celebrate the soon to be husband and wife!

Summer days in Texas are usually very predictable... hot and humid. this labor day seemed to be the norm, the sun was shining but it wasn't long after getting to the venue that the weather started to change. The storm clouds started rolling in and the wind picked up right as the music began to play and the recessional started. Even though there was a huge storm right over the pavilion, making it difficult at times to hear the officiant, inside the pavilion Dom and Xavier exchanged their vows as friends and family cheered them on! It was perfect! You can truly enjoy a stormy wedding day when you have an amazing village around you.

What I love about this couple is that they had amazing attitudes through all of this and above everything they just wanted to be together, celebrating their love! Their love is so pure and they love the Lord, which is something that was so evident during their whole wedding day... which is how it should be! It's amazing how God creates connections and that I get the honor and privilege to capture the most important day of Dom and Xavier's lives. I'm so thankful!

Enjoy some of my favorite images from the Arellano wedding!

Congratulations Dom and Xavier!
