i got of the phone and immediately told my husband, i can't wait to meet them in person! their wedding sounds like it is going to be a blast! i love my job! i love that i get to create and meet amazing couples along the way. that's exactly how these two are. kayla and dean are incredibly laid back and full of joy! Don't miss their christmas sweaters by the christmas tree! I'll leave that story for their wedding blog post. needless to say, their session was all laughter and i loved every minute of it!
We ventured around The Historic Pearl on the day before thanksgiving, and there was a lot of people. You may be wondering how we made it work and it's because the people were so thoughtful and we were lucky to have small moments of privacy. It was a windy and a cool day with small moments of glow and sunlight but you would never really be able to tell. Kayla showed up in a perfect outfit, that could create movement and looked amazing. But the most important thing, is that even if they were nervous, I could not tell. They were completely enjoying themselves and each other and you'll be able to tell by the images below.
I'm truly honored to be their wedding photographer and cannot wait to celebrate them again in March! I have a strong feeling we will have a lot more fun and laughter, surrounded with family and friends! In the meantime, enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session.
